Many classes utilize the museum, not just in geology, but in the other sciences, humanities and education.
The Answersphere is a student tutoring service.
Exhibits related to Introductory Geology classes include:
- minerals, igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rock cases
- fossil cases
- digital earthquake exhibit
- other, similar topics
Introductory Geology labs have museum field trip assignments. [PDF; 216KB]
Specimens and materials for introductory labs are maintained in the museum for student use and study outside of scheduled lab sessions.
